Pope Francis’ genuine humility could be his greatest strength
Fintan O'Toole believes Pope Francis' awareness that he failed to speak out against the junta in Argentina may be the source of his humility. His lack of a sense of his own righteousness could make Francis a leader who could, with sincerity, sign his name in the style once used by bishops: peccator episcopus (sinner and bishop).
